This is what we saw as we arrived. It looked as though at least some of the RV could be salvaged but...

when we were allowed to get closer the extent of the loss was evident.

Firefighters had to come from Indio but as fast as the motorhome burned we doubt they could have saved it even if they had been closer.

It took firefighters about an hour to be sure the fire was completly out.
